So, I haven’t posted a new ‘about me’ for a while.
My name is Naomi and I am 19 years young.
I’m a sufferer of CFS, some people call me lazy, regardless, I spend my life in my bed/on my laptop/watching TV shows and films. I’m currently doing my A levels in Biology, and English Literature with art AS on the side. I hope to study zoology or animal behaviour at university and go on to conservation studies or to be a wildlife film maker or work in conservation.
I’m a struggling vegan, pansexual that takes an interest in photography, nature, literature and all kinds of knowledge. I love to know things. I’m vegan because I believe animals aren’t ours to manipulate- that’s it really. I’m pan-sexual; I am sexually attracted to people regardless of their gender.
I like photography, I like to be out in nature and photograph things whilst I’m there. I’m just another girl with a nikon. I love to capture nature, I love to be able to take a photo of a bird in flight and just admire it’s beauty. Music has always been a big part of my life. I used to be a metal head when I was younger but I’ve worn myself out of that now. I still appreciate it but I much prefer folk/acoustic music these days. Frank Turner is my favourite.
I have very few hobbies because I get tired a lot, but I like to read and I like to knit and make creations. I like walking places and up mountains and just be by myself. I love walking barefoot. I’m qualified at British Sign Language level one.
I’ve always loved body modifications. I am inked and pierced. I have fourteen piercings and my ears are stretched to 14mm. I have three dermals down my chest and one on my face. I have three tattoos but always planning more. My hair hasn’t been it’s natural colour for a very long time now. I mainly stick with red but recently trying other colours.
I am VERY interested in animal and human rights. Gay rights, trans* rights, animal rights, women’s rights. Also Earth rights, alternative energies and technology and things like that. People often think I’m quite pretentious because I like to share my opinions on certain things everything. I don’t mean to pretend to act like I know more than I do, I just like to educate people and be educated myself :)
