I was going to wait til April to read Clash Of Kings. I read Game Of Thrones after watching the TV series and it made it so much easier to understand with relation to characters and places. I was planning to do that with Clash Of Kings but the lack of ASOIAF in my life has been slowly getting more unbearable and damnit I just can’t wait til April!

So… I finished Twilight. My Goodreads review (I can’t write, I know). A story that had so much potential but was given to the wrong author. I have not given this book one star because it’s fashionable to hate Twilight, I genuinely tried to construct a true and honest review of my feelings after reading and I really disliked the book as a whole. I am thoroughly confused as...

mikecbwearer replied to your post: I mean really, how the hell can Bella love Edward?… Funny. I always “got” Edward. Enormous physical attraction he doesn’t understand. Totally flustered ‘cause he can’t read her mind. Never knows what to say, because of it. Tries to be the “grown up”, but fails miserably ‘cause he’s smitten. Interesting. Maybe Mayer doesn’t present that well...

I mean really, how the hell can Bella love Edward? He’s such a massive dick head. And it’s not as if he was nice and then turned into a dick, he was always horrid and manipulative, taking advantage of Bella’s vulnerability of being young and facing the stress of moving away from home. “Stay away from meee, I’m so dangerousss. But if something bad happens to you...

“During the whole class he never relaxed his stiff position on the edge of his chair, sitting as far from me as possible. I could see his hand on his left leg was clenched into a fist, tendons standing out under his pale skin. This too he never relaxed.” Maybe it’s because I’m looking for faults but this description of Edward Cullen does not convey awkwardness but makes it...

bonedust replied to your post: I’ve just gotten my hands on the Twilight Saga… I listened to the first one when I was in Italy. that was over a year ago and I still can’t get over. they are just so awful. I don’t understand how it’s so famous! And so badly written! There are SO many novelists out there that could use a tenth of the fame given to Twilight. BAH asfdkjfdghhafa...

I’ve just gotten my hands on the Twilight Saga audiobooks, just so I can read the books and then criticise with the knowledge that I have reason to. But the first three books are 12 hours long a-piece. I don’t have enough time to waste on it =/

I hate how almost all wildlife/conservation groups need you to be a member before you can help them. I live on £37 a month! I genuinely can’t afford it. I’m giving you my time, why do I have to pay you!?

My second dissection/death project. Trigger warning: Death and dead animals. My Dad was up at my Grandmother’s this week sorting out her garden which is seriously overgrown and hasn’t been managed for years. He found this very dead (and almost mummified) kitty cat and brought it back for me. It’s very much intact with teeth, claws and even whiskers. It probably wandered in to...
